We want everyone to be able to explore and book a stay at Private Escapes, including people with disabilities.

What web accessibility is

An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse the site with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be achieved with the capabilities of the system on which the site is operating, and through assistive technologies.

Accessibility adjustments on this site

We are working to make this site usable for people with disabilities, guided by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. So far, we have:

Added descriptive alternative text to images
Used readable fonts, clear headings and strong color contrast
Made the site work with keyboard navigation and screen readers, using Wix's built-in accessibility tools
Made phone and email links tappable on mobile

Known limitations

Some content, such as booking pages from our partner Guesty and some photo galleries, comes from third parties and may not be fully accessible. We're working to improve these where we can.

About the properties

The Hideaway is a single-level home. Both properties sit on wooded lots with gravel driveways and decks, and The Front Perch has outdoor soaking tubs and a loft. If you have questions about physical access, contact us before booking and we'll give you specific details.
